RESIDENT GEOLOGIST
Prior to joining Patcho Continental Resources Ltd, Mr. Henry Zulu was working for Zambia Gold Company Ltd a subsidiary of ZCCM-IH operating Kasenseli Gold Mine where he was Metallurgist in charge of Processing Plant as well as the Assistant Mine Manager. Mr. Zulu has been with ZCCM-IH since December 2020.
Mr. Zulu is a seasoned metallurgist with over 24years in processing of copper, cobalt, nickel and gold bearing minerals. Mr. Zulu started his career with ZCCM – Konkola Concentrator in 1997 as a Senior Assistant Metallurgical Engineer. Prior to joining ZCCM-IH, he worked for MCM as Process Metallurgist at Nkana, BCL Mining and Smelting in Selebi Phikwe – Botswana, Barrick Gold – Buzwagi Mine in Tanzania, and Munali Nickel Mine. He also served as a Metallurgical Consultant with Enviromix Zambia. He has been involved in carrying out feasibility studies with international Metallurgical Laboratories such as Wardell Armstrong in the UK as well as Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (BGRIMM) in China.
Mr. Zulu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy and Mineral Processing from the University of Zambia. He is a member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) as well as Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM)..
